Exhaust Guards
Our Carbon Kevlar exhaust guards are created by a process called vacuum bag infusing. Our super heat-resistant guards have 2 layers of 170g twirl carbon, 1 layer of Kevlar, 2 layers of 600g biaxl glass and 1 layer of 400g twirl glass. All these materials get vacuumed in a mold at 1 ton per square foot and then infused with high heat epoxy from a company based in France. After infusing, the part gets post-cured with the mold in an oven for 5 hours. After de-molding, the part goes back in the oven for another 12 hours. The parts then get trimmed and fitted with brackets. The brackets that go around the pipe are laser cut and made from stainless steel. All fixing bolts are stainless steel and are fitted with heavy duty heat-resistant washers on both sides. This is a very expensive manufacturing process but the end result is a super strong guard thatβs extremely durable and light .
